This is a German Nazi publication containing one speech, "Proclamation of the Fuhrer to the German People" by Adolf Hitler and a memorandum, "Memorandum from the German Government, handed to the British Ambassador by the Reich Minister for Foreign Affairs." Both the speech and memorandum are dated September 3, 1939, just two days after the beginning of World War II. The general theme of Hitler's speech is placing blame on Britain for Germany's hardships with its "encirclement policy." Hitler also blames "that stratum of Jewish and plutocratic democracy" and Poland. In the memorandum, Germany threatens going to war with Britain should the latter not reply by September 3, 1939. The memorandum reiterates Germany's complaints against Britain and mentions the Treaty of Versailles and Britain's alliance with Poland.. Book. Book Condition: Good. Binding: No Binding
