This is an affable, spirited tale with lines which remind one of Barbara Pym. The genial dustjacket is worn and torn, but is complete and whole. The cover is neat and tidy with only some spine and corner wear. Inside, there is a previous owner signature and a gift inscription (not from the author). The pages are very lightly foxed.
