Original land deed with printed and handwritten text in black ink on beige paper. Dated 1822 or 1823 in the document. The back reads the deed was received 1829. 7 3/4" x 12 3/4" folded. 15 1/2" x 12 3/4" opened. Two pages. Deed is very clean and intact overall but has age toning and some splitting along the vertical fold line at center. The largest split measures 4" from bottom edge. A Very Good copy. An original land deed in which James Haywood sells Nathan Haywood a plantation on 140 acres of land. Both James Haywood and Nathan Haywood live in Stafford, Monmouth County, New Jersey.
