Hartman, A.C : Two Typed Letters Signed. "Billboard Magazine"

Two typed letters signed on printed stationary (8 1/2 x 11 inch) with original envelopes. First letter two pages, second letter is one page. At the time of these letters, Billboard advertised itself as "the Foremost weekly theatrical digest and review of the show world." The editor was A.C. Hartman. In the first letter (2 pages) dated August 3, 1922, Hartman writes Lawrence T. Berliner (1881-1969), a contributor to the magazine, about new submission policies. All news, except for motion picture news, is still to go to the Cincinnati office. Motion picture news is to go to the New York Office. Hartman's letter also contains information on deadlines, sending news by cable and so forth. In the second letter, dated August 10, 1922 Hartman turns down an idea Berliner has sent him.
