Original publisher's light gray paper wrappers with staple binding. Age toning has turned most of the covers to a light brown with some gray at the center. Black lettering on front. 5 3/4" x 9." Fifty-seven pages, complete. One black-and-white map tipped in the back, complete. Map is topographical and accompanies the 1899 "modus vivendi" which established territorial boundaries in Alaska. Purple "Received" stamp dated 1900 on front cover toward bottom. Pages are very clean and intact except for light age toning and slightly bumped corners. Covers are clean and intact overall but have age toning throughout, a split along spine measuring about 2 1/4" from the top, slight wrinkling, and slightly bumped corners. Covers are slightly loose but the rest of the binding is tight. A Very Good copy.
