UK,8vo HB,1st edn.VG.Owner's faded black ink name+address inscrptn to ffe (front free endpaper).Original,bright,crisp, clean,white bordered colour pictorial artwork illustration by RIDOUT,with white and white outlined-green lettering to front board/cover,rear board/cover also with a b/w twin-lined bordered colour pictorial illustration (non-credited) with No.6 to lower,right-hand corner,spine also with a colour pictorial panelled illustration and black lettering but also with a quadrant-shaped (approx 1" x 1") tear+loss and affecting letters 'WARN' and 'PL' (partially),of the title at the head of spine.Front board/cover concavely bowed,rear board/cover unaffected. Negligible shelf-wear,bumping and rubbing to edges and corners,head+foot of spine/ backstrip.Top,fore and lower edges all appear lightly toned with little or no sign of foxing/spotting - despite book's age and thick paper stock used - contents bright,tight,clean and solid with no intentional dog-ear reading creases noted, possibly unread(?) - apart from my own collation.Beware of one page edge with a small horizontal tear to its fore-edge in 'On the Stroke of Time' story - opposite a b/w part-page illustration.UK,8vo HB,1st edn,200pp(?)
