author's hand-written,undated,fountain-pen blue ink signature,pasted to title page and no price-clip to dw/dj.Uncommon to locate an early signed GODDARD title,this title is particularly scarce and hard to find unsigned.Protected pictorial colour decorated wrap-around dw/dj with minimal shelf-wear to edges.Very light,minimal bumping and creasing to both head+foot of spine/backstrip as usual/normal.Seems to be a common fault and this is the least degree of bumping on this title I have yet handled! Top edge lightly dust-soiled and light ageing/greying,fore-edge lightly aged; contents bright,tight and very clean. UK,8vo HB+dw/dj,SIGNED,1st edn,9-446pp [paginated] includes family tree.
Author's third novel and along with 'Past
Caring',a difficult title to find,due in particular to a very low print run.
