Free endpapers very lightly soiled, and the upper board lifting a little. A nice crisp copy in nicked and soiled non-price-clipped dust wrapper. An interesting selection of British and Soviet cartoons, particularly noticeable for being the first bookform appearance of any cartoon by Giles (i.e. Ronald 'Carl' Giles): his cartoon "It's nothing, Tovarishi, you should have seen the one that got away" appearing here about a year before he made his 'Sunday Express' debut in October 1943 (although he had been producing cartoons for the Sunday newspaper 'Reynolds News' since 1937)..
