Tall 8vo. 30pp. Cloth-backed paper-covered boards. With a frontispiece and eight illustrations, include three full-page examples. Some miscellaneous soiling and marking to the read board. A very good copy of this selection of seven Gilbert White letters (sent to Thomas Pennant between September 1767-June 1768; and Daines Barrington between June 1775-April 1776). No dust wrapper, probably as issued. An uncommon and handsome edition, designed and illustrated by the noted children's illustrator Colin Threadgall, presumably whilst he was studying at Colchester School of Art.. Book.
