Original billhead printed in black ink on beige paper. Also includes handwriting in black ink. Small black-and-white illustration of a man making a broom at the top with "1747" printed below it. Datelined July 12, 1900 in Sacramento, California. 8 1/2" x 4 3/4." Billhead is very clean and intact but has light to moderate browning, three small punctures at top (barely affecting text, handwriting, and illustration), a small chip in upper-right corner on front (not affecting text), and a few small wrinkles. A Very Good copy. An original billhead from the Empire Broom Factory of Sacramento, California to "Mr. F. (Frank?) Kunsting." Kunsting bought one line item, "1 [--?] 3 Extra Brooms," for $3.00. The printed header reads, "Bought of Empire Broom Factory, Manufacturers of All Kinds of Brooms, Brushes and Wisps. 225 J Street, Bet. Second and Third.". Ephemera.
