Stereocard is very clean and intact overall. Board is age-toned with some smudges. A Very Good copy. Title and copyright information printed below the right photo in the bottom margin. Text printed in left margin on front: "Keystone View Company, Manufacturers and Publishers." Text printed in right margin on front: "Meadville, Pa. St. Louis, Mo.; From Copyright of S. V. Courtney. 1896." This stereocard shows a dual portrait of President William McKinley and First Lady Ida McKinley surrounded by flowers. McKinley was the 25th President of the United States. B. L. Singley (1864-1938) was an American photography businessman who founded the Keystone View Company in 1892. The Keystone View Company was based in Meadville, Pennsylvania and became one of the world's most prominent stereographic companies. Singley had previously worked for another stereographic company, Underwood & Underwood. The Keystone View Company stayed in business until 1972 when Gifford Mast closed its Meadville manufacturing site.. Photographic Image. Book Condition: Collectible-Very Good.
