With period illustrations throughout, it outlines the immense technological progress of the 1950s, including the polio vaccine, Space Travel, television, high fidelity stereos, better refrigeration, and nylon. The pamphlet adds that with these developments, “Refrom Judaism is (also) stronger than it used to be. ” Nevertheless, “We must make sure that God’s teachings are not drowned out by the roar of rockets. ” The appeal concludes, “So— take this pamphlet home and discuss it with your parents. Then, bring back the special envelope the next time you come to religious school – with a generous contribution in it. ” OCLC lists no copies worldwide.
