Original publisher's gray wrapper with multicolored illustration of an owl on a bookshelf on the front cover. 7" x 10 1/2." Forty-two pages (Pages 541-582), complete. Many black and white illustrations throughout magazine, complete. Several pages of advertisements relating to photography in front and back. Pages are very clean and intact. Covers are very clean and intact except for a small tear at the top of the front cover and tiny spots at the bottom of the front cover. Camera Craft was a monthly magazine edited by Fayette J. Clute and was first published in 1900 and ran until 1942 when it merged with American Photography magazine. Camera Craft covers a wide range of topics, such as camera equipment and photographic processes, proper photography techniques, and other photographic advice. The following are some of the articles and features in this issue: "Portraiture with Flashlight" by Felix Raymer, "Deacon Gray" by Edgell R. Plaisted [short narrative with cat photographs], "Fun and Profit with a Balopticon" by T. E. Westlake, "The Importance of a Time Method of Development" by F. Morris Steadman, "Handling a Detail" by W. W. Bowers [Bowers recollects the time he was on assignment to photograph an African American baptizing ceremony], "Binding One's Own Magazines" by Effie M.
