8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Offered is a charming group of four [4] original manuscript letters handwritten by Jackson Mississippi attorney and swain L. Braum all addressed to "Miss Lida Terrell Crystal Springs Miss." The first two letters, mailed together, are dated Sept. 20, 1888 and Sept 29, 1888 [mailed that day]. The third of two pages, dated Nov. 6, 1888 to "My Lovely Lida" and the fourth and final one page letter dated Aug 8, 1888 to "My Darling Lida". Between romancing Lida and keeping up on his doings we see a small picture of romance in the late 19th Century.. Manuscript.
