Adbaston is a small village in the county of Staffordshire. Charles Bowker Ash 1781- ?. C.B. Ash was a resident of Eccleshall and is recorded as being a teacher [?] and later a surveyor. 23 cms [Copac 6 copies]. No copy has appeared at auction. Errata slip bound in at the rear of volume 2 [7 lines]. C>B> ash was 'indebted' to friendly suggestions of Samuel Taylor Coleridge who made marginal motes in a copy in the first edition of his poem 'Adbaston or Days of Youth' that was first published in1814 by G and S Robertson, London.
