Original small broadside printed on beige paper. Circa 1902. 7 1/4" x 12 1/2." Two pages, complete. Text printed on one leaf of paper. Paper is very clean and intact. Minuscule wrinkling at the top edge. Small closed tear measuring about 1/2" in the lower-right margin. A Fine copy. This is the third annual report of the American Flag House and Betsy Ross Memorial Association. The central topic of this report is to discuss plans to purchase the Betsy Ross House ("Old Flag House") on 239 Arch Street using the funds generated by the sales of membership certificates. On the front side of the broadside are numerical figures showing the number of memberships sold by state. There is also information about the officers, directors, and charter members. On the back is an announcement about a meeting that was held on February 14, 1902 in which a unanimous vote by the association secured the purchase of the Betsy Ross House.. Poster.
